Descending Gobernador Canyon Road in Carpinteria, California. It connects Hwy 150, with a Category 5 hill coming from Lake Casitas, and Hwy 192, going behind the town of Carpinteria. Both highways are a regular part of the Amgen Tour of California, but Gobernador is not. It is too narrow for the peloton and the turn onto the 150 is too sharp for the speeding peloton to make safely. So it is one spot around here where the Strava KOMs are not filled with pro rider times.
