Tony Martin Crashes with 1 km to Go

Zdenek Stybar, Etixx-Quick Step, won Stage 6 with a late sprint. However, his teammate and Tour leader, Tony Martin crashed, after bumping into a EuroCar rider, with 1 km to go in the stage and appeared to have hurt his left shoulder. It is questionable whether Tony Martin will be able to continue the Tour.
Update: Tony Martin Etixx-Quick Step, has withdrawn from the Tour with a broken collarbone. Chris Froome, Team Sky, will wear the Yellow Jersey for Stage 7. Chris Froome, Team Sky, and Vincenzo Nibali, Astana Pro Team, both involved in the Tony Martin crash late in the stage, had a discussion after the stage thinking that the other caused the crash. They quickly cleared the air after viewing the video and talking for a few minutes.

Daniel Teklehaimanot, MTN-Qhubeka, was in the breakaway today and was first on all three Category 4 climbs today. Earning 1 point per climb, Daniel has three points to two points for Joachim Rodriguez, Team Katusha, Daniel is the first African to wear the Polka Dot jersey as King of Mountain. Daniel won the King of the Mountain competition in this year's Critérium du Dauphiné. He is from Eritrea.
Except for the Tony Martin crash, today's sunny stage was a relatively crash free and fast race. The breakaway formed in the first 5 km (3.2 miles) of the 191.5 km (119 mile) stage in the Normandy region of France from Abbeville to Le Harve. The sprinter teams, including Lotto-Soudal, shared the front of the peloton today with the top GC contender teams, such as Tinkoff-Saxo, not too far behind.
