2015 Criterium du Dauphine
Chris Froome of Team Sky won his second Criterium du Dauphine title Sunday with a solo charge with 2.6 km (1.62 miles) to go in Stage 8 to win the Stage and the race. Froome started the day 18 seconds behind American Tejay van Garderen of BMC. Froome finished Stage 8, 10 seconds ahead of van Garderen with the time bonus and the stage win. Froome won the Criterium in 2013, the same year that he won the Tour de France, which begins on July 4. With Alberto Contador's victory in the Giro d'Italia and Froome's victory, both cyclists look to be very competitive for the upcoming Tour.
